      MORE INFO
  • We Are 100 Women Who Care – Grosse Pointe

We are a group of PEOPLE who are interested in supporting our local community. Men have joined our group as well. To date, our members come from the Grosse Pointes, Harrison Township, Macomb Township, Rochester, Royal Oak, St. Clair Shores and Bloomfield Hills.

We come from all walks of life and different financial backgrounds. As a group we have the ability to contribute to the welfare of our community in philanthropic ways that we never before thought possible.

We invite you to become a part of this powerful group to have a positive impact on those in need.

100 Women Who Care was started in November of 2006 by Karen Dunigan of Jackson, MI, as a brilliantly simple way to raise money efficiently and quickly for local charities/non-profits/worthy causes. Her group of 100 women, at their first one-hour meeting, each wrote a check for $100 directly to their selected charity. They raised $10,000 to buy 300 new baby cribs for an organization in their city. Since then, they have grown to over 200 members and chapters are forming all over the country.

100 Women Who Care - Grosse Pointe was launched in February 2016 by Lori Brophy, Marlene Heitmanis, and Judy McLoughlin.

Thank you to all who are presently participating! Our goal is to reach 100+ people. Please spread the word by inviting friends and family members to out next meeting.
